Work with Former Texas County Prosecutors
James C. Winters has tried cases from speeding to aggravated robbery, organized criminal activity, and capital murder. He worked as a prosecutor for almost 10 years in Travis County as a misdemeanor and felony prosecutor and in Bell County as a felony prosecutor before entering private practice. As a Georgetown criminal defense attorney, he handles all levels of felony and misdemeanor cases, including those at the federal level.
Veronica Chidester has demonstrated her passion for advocacy in cases ranging from Justice of the Peace to federal court and everything in between. She worked in the Texas Attorney General’s Office in the Law Enforcement Defense Division, where she tried federal cases in various jurisdictions statewide. She went on to work at the Travis County Attorney’s Office and the Travis County District Attorney’s Office, where she became a chief misdemeanor and family violence prosecutor. She later worked in the criminal trial court division with felony cases.
